Mine do it all the time, gotta get somewhere quick, they spread their wings and hit the NOS button. Especially in the morning, they prefer to fly out rather than use the ramp

Mine, too. They are older, 5.5-6.5 years. A pekin, a khaki campbell, and a welsh harlequin. They don't really fly, they just kind of jump up 1-3 feet and flap/glide. But they can get about 20-30 feet horizontally at times!!

They do it every morning coming out of the barn. They are so excited they need to get out fast!! Or when we are foraging and I call them they "fly" back to me. It's just because I have mealworms in my pocket but I pretend it is because they love me.
