Year old Indian Runner Duck Wing Bump

Hello! It looks and feels the same. Just the larger bump on one side. I have not been able to open the wing forcefully but she constantly is running and flapping them. I was able to put my hand under to feel the bottom and top but I'm not too sure what im feeling. I feel the bump on both sides of all of the ducks but one side is just bigger on her. It must be a bone?
It’s so weird my Indian Runners usually lets me check their wings and I can usually see what is under. 🤔

Oh really? How do you open it? I tried on my other ducks too, but maybe I'm being too delicate? Do you just take the side of the wing and pull it out?

Any luck?
Hello! Yes! I was able to open the wing but couldn't get the bump to show up in the photo because with the wing out, the bump didn't seem as prominent. When I put my fingers on both side of the wing where the bump is and do the same thing on the side without the bump, they feel the same. It is just on the top I feel it is a taller bump than the other side. Very strange but I am happy she flaps her wings and swims and everything. I am hoping she will molt again soon to see if maybe it was just a weird feather?

Oh no what would I do if that was the case? Do you recommend I get her into a vet to get checked out? She was just in there about 6 months ago and had an x ray and nothing was noted. They said everything looked good, no masses, and no broken bones. She did have the bump, not sure if the vet noticed, but we were looking at other areas since her duck friend passed and we wanted to make sure it wasn't an infection before we got new ducklings but the vet said everything looked good.

It could just be something that happened in the egg or after. Since the vet saw nothing to worry about after xrays . You could take her back have him x-ray and examine this bump of course that is up to you.

Sounds good! Thank you! I will try to get her in because I don't want her in pain if she is although she doesn't seem like she is. I have heard people refer to it as the elbow joint? Or so I saw in my time reading online. I will see what the vet says!
