Whats a myotonic doe? Is that another term for fainting goat?

I had a sharp shinned or a coopers hawk kill one of my full grown del's. He is a pretty bird and small but he will kill them. Just speaking from experience. My husband saw the whole thing, he swooped down from a dead tree, heard chicken commotion and saw something different then normal, then he saw the hawk. I love my del's.
