Had to cull the birds with the symptoms

I decided to cull the birds showing symptoms for CRD, & burn the carcasses. We destroyed approx. 25 birds yesterday & another 60 birds today, does anyone know if this will stop or at least slow down the outbreak. I am going to continue to cull the birds that show symptoms & clean all of the areas. We are moving all of the turkeys to another run since none of them are showing symptoms yet, hopefully they won't be effected. Is there anything else I can do? I am giving the remainder of the chickens not showing symptoms 1 cc of vetrimycin twice daily, & the chicks are getting 1/2 cc twice daily.

I think it's triage at this point and no one can really predict the outcome. I'm very sorry you had to go through all this. It's painful to lose animals like this.
