Had to delay placing my eggs - how long can eggs last before putting

Guinea ,turkey, and geese eggs can last much longer. I have had 20+ guineas hatch out and the eggs were stacked in it's nest! muscovy ducks hatch 20+ so that is almost 3 weeks from 1st egg to last one laid. turkeys can hatch out a big brood too as well as geese.....
I have had chickens hatch out eggs several days old but it was cooler weather. I think the heat can affect fertility...
