Thanks! I'm so smitten with them now. I actually had no idea that there were so many different kinds of ducks until I saw so many pictures on here. I have to have a black swedish. So cute! Do they get along well even though they're different?

Your ducks are adorable and they look like they're having so much fun! Is there a pond at that park? I've always been hesitant about letting my duck swim in the wild, but I'm sure she'd love it. I just worry she wouldn't come back.

I don't have a backyard either, so when my duck gets to play in the grass she's always thrilled. I'm moving in with my parents for fall and winter, which of course isn't so great for me, but the duck will be thrilled to play on their acre lot!

Thanks so much! There is not a pond at this park. We have a tiny patio attached to our apartment with a kiddie pool for them. I don't think I'd be able to watch my babies swim in the wild. I'd be so worried. But the park is nice, like you said, for grass. They enjoy it so much! An acre is wonderful I bet! How many ducks do you have? So much room.

Yep they get along great i thinkl the fact that they are the same age has a lot to do with that.

Same here, I'm scared to let my duck swim in a pond in the wild because she might not come back. I live near Lake Michigan right now and it would be fun to take her to the beach, but no way, too risky! She did get to swim in my parents' pool though, and she loved that!

I live in California and we took ours to the beach. The scariest part was keeping them away from all the grabby kids. No one believed that they were our pets and not wild. The ducks definitely loved sitting in the sun and chasing the sand crabs. Can't say they caught any though.
