I live in California and we took ours to the beach. The scariest part was keeping them away from all the grabby kids. No one believed that they were our pets and not wild. The ducks definitely loved sitting in the sun and chasing the sand crabs. Can't say they caught any though.
That sounds adorable! I didn't even think about the crabs, but that would be so fun for a duck. We don't have crabs here in Chicago, but I'm hoping to relocate to California within a year...
