I vote for humm-n-cluck ranch's Murdock. His story reminds me of a snake we rescued long ago, so I was immediately biased in his favor.

This is Esther. She's one of our three Easter Eggers and has scissor-beak. She is is 8.5 months old. The earliest recollection I have of her beak being crooked was around 6 weeks old, it wasn't like that when she was a chick. She's a little thinner than her peers, probably because it takes her so much additional energy to eat. It's kind of tough to watch her, she just pecks, and pecks, and pecks, and pecks until she FINALLY gets a morsel in her mouth. She's no worse for the wear though, she's one of my earliest and most reliable layers and the best flyer!
