I was down in the alpaca paddock taking photos of the chooks and it looked like it was going to storm, but just a small storm. anyway I thought the chickens would be alright 'cause it looked like it might even pass us so I went up to the house to have some lunch, in the middle of lunch it started raining really big drops which then surprise surprise turned into hail. so while everyone was running around madly trying to save their cars I was running around trying to find a helmet with no luck so I ended up getting a big bucket/tub thing and running down to the alpaca paddock then grabbing the chooks and throwing them over the fence ( I know
I fell really bad about it but none got hurt ) then trying to catch the guinea fowl, then giving up on the guinea fowl and jumping over the fence ( which is nearly as tall as me ) and chucking the chickens inside, then going back for the guinea fowl ( they. are. so. stupid.
) I was trying to chase then through the fence so they could then go into the coop but nnoooooo they had to run to the other side of the paddock
when they did finally go through the fence they were acting like they didn't know where the coop was then they got back into the alpaca paddock again
I mean seriously most animals know when your going to help them no matter how wild they are but guinea fowl, arrggggg, they would rather be soaking wet and die by getting hit by hail ( I would rather that happen too sometimes, like now
) so then it stops hailing and raining and the guinea fowl calmly walk through the fence and into the coop ARRRRRRGGGGGGGG. I. HATE. THOSE. THINGS.
so now I am soaking wet, cold, mad, mad, mad and have jumped over that fence about twenty times, with a bucket on my head.
but the chookies are safe
