(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

200+ acre family farm w 17 Angus cattle, a golden retriever,4 household cats, 2 outdoor cats, we are both retired from 30+ years in healthcare. We have some farming experiences.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D

I came across a link while googling whether sawdust could be used as chicken bedding.

Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow

I have answered questions like that thread you speak of. Our horse bedding pellets create sawdust when absorbing the poop, but it's dust-free vs. fresh sawdust, which may be dusty. I'd still think sawdust would work, but I see how when it gets wet in one of our growout pens, we remove it as it would take forever to dry out.
