Hair Up in Curlers--Do YOU Do It?

Love Love Love that haircut, it's too cute!!! I just got my haircut less than a month ago, I had a blunt cut bob, and used the straightener every morning to straighten it. It was a cute cut, I really did like it but was ready for a change. So now I have it shorter and it does need curled everyday, and I use hot rollers. My set is an OLD set that I got at a garage sale for $1 and it works awesome, even has all the pins to hold them in. I used to take about 15minutes from washing/drying/straightening. Now I need about 20minutes, wash/dry/put the curlers in and allow them to set for about 5minutes before removing and then go!

Sometimes a change is the best thing for you, you need to go with what works best for you and your lifestyle.

My hair is THICK and is about 3 inches away from my waist. I do have bangs and my hair is ALWAYS up. I leave it down and it drives me nuts. I am a dog groomer so that has made it easy for me to grow, since I always wear it up at work. It drives me nuts at night. I hate having it in a braid but some night I wake up almost choked by my own hair

At this point I am seeing how long I can grow it. My hubby likes it of course, he doesn't have to deal with it. Almost every morning my hair elastics snap and they are stretched out in one day. Why do I have long hair?!?!

When my hair was longer I used these roller things that had a wire in them with a cushion type thing in the center, they were white and I got them from Walgreens-around $6. I'd roll my hair each night dry and sleep in them and unroll in the morning to curly hair. I took them on our europe trip, they worked great for me.

as a former hair dresser I will advise you find a good hair dresser who will talk to you about your hair type and what would look good on you and show you how to do it easily at home. Some like the hair spray and a dramatic "transformation" but its not realistic to do on your own at home.

PS, my friends hate my hair. Naturally curly layered and shoulder length. All I have to do is wash, a little curl milk, a little fluff with the dryer and Im done.
