I was just candling my fertile Turkey eggs, oldest one hatches in 10 days, and I saw these weird hairs on this egg! I don’t know what they mean and I need to know if I should remove the egg. A few of the eggs have them, I noticed it’s only on the eggs with imperfections on the shell pattern, and only on the place with imperfections. The babies are all alive and moving in the eggs.

Picture 1 is of the hairs, picture 2 I’d of the part of egg they are on, and 3 is the inside of the egg. The hairs come off if I pull on them and just look like hairs.

The eggs have been sitting on paper towel, because the egg turner was designed for chicken eggs and they didn’t fit, and it didn’t work anyway. Maybe the paper towel is the problem?

Looks like debris from the paper towel. I would not have the eggs on paper towels especially during lockdown.

Get some non slip shelf liner instead.

Thank you! I just didn’t know what else to put them on so they don’t roll around, but I guess it should be fine seeing as the incubator is full
