Aparently,
San Diego Union Tribune posted an editorial that shed our backyard flocks in a bad light.
I missed that paper but this morning I see the aftermath of that bad editorial.
ONE IS FROM ONE OF OUR BYC FAMILY!!!

Hens can be confined to a covered pen so no other animals can get to them.

In all there were seven other letters saying basically the same things as well as how wrong the Tribune is for allowing such a bad editorial to be published and how much everyone likes their chickens etc....
