Just for reference also, I have 2 females and a drake muscovy and they are sweet. I also keep mine in with the chickens but they all go out to free range when the coast is clear of predators. The muscovies don't make any noise and are content to stay very close to the coop. I saw my one girl fly yesterday but not far. The drake can't fly (I think) he is too heavy.
I am really looking forward to having a bunch of these ducks. They are friendly, quiet and low maintance.
