Hello Everyone,
I have a mixed flock of six hens. They are just a year old and, up until a month ago, all were laying faithfully every day. A month ago we had a heat wave (triple digits) and during that time three chickens stopped laying. I figured that the heat had put them off their laying even though I watched them and took measures to keep them from overheating. The temperature has since come back down to a reasonable degree but I'm still only getting three eggs a day. These three are distinctive so I know the same chickens are laying. Any suggestions on what might be going on and what I could do about it?
Thanks!
