Why are half my lights out on each string? They were working just fine last year…

And, are they just no good anymore or can they be fixed?

That first set looks like LED and that there's a fuse box next to the first light out? It's a little tricky opening the fuse box, but if you replace the fuse, they *should* start working. You might have gotten a spare fuse with those when you got them. What I did on a set is I took a good fuse out of one half set and put it in another. (The fuses almost look like another bulb, so they don't look like what you'd put in your car.)

It’s LED, yes. Is this the fuse box?

Yes. There should be a lid in the top, and you'll want to use a very small flat head screw driver if you have on to open it. What I do, is I merge the cover up enough to get the pliers onto it, then finish pulling it out.

Thank you!

Ooo. I didn't know you could open those.
Yes, you can. They're just a little tricky. When you buy a set of LED lights, there's usually a spare fuse or two that come with them so you can change them.

What about the older lights that aren't LED? I have a string of those too that are also half burnt out.
