Half Way There...

So the ducks have opted not to use their pool like ever. They focus on the 5 gallon water bucket and even jump in that. Well with all the rain we got nothing but mud. So today I moved the water bucket and set it up with River rock around it. I also put mulch down. Cleaned out their pool while I was at it.

The water bucket us right in front of them and they are not finding it. Hard to believe but true. So I put the Peking in the pool and the others just follow like usual. They have been in the pool for a couple hours now. Ricky is getting a lot of practice in with the girls if you know what I mean.

Now I just have to find a way for them to go in on their own...it's like they seriously forget it's there within 24 hours

Now they are out. I showed them the water bucket, instead they are using the pool...

Mine won't use the pool once it gets to a certain level of dirty. I think it is about two full days. They only like it if the water is clear. I can't see my ducks all of the time, but I know they use it due to the feathers floating in it and the amount of dirt.
Muscovy mature slower than other breeds and for that I am glad because the only naughtiness they do right now is picking on one another.

So I came home today and heard splashing and I see they made their way into the pool. I just saw Ricky use the ramp

Now they are destroying that area. Just when I thought I was done...
