I just realised I never introduced myself... oh well, it's never too late to do so, right?
Hi all, I'm a 20 year old college student living in Belgium with 6 chickens, a roo and 10 chicks.
Last year we moved from Brussels to the Flemish Ardennes, a huge difference! The garden over here was one big mess, too much to take care of ourselves. That's why we decided to hire some gardeners... They had to be cheap though, and with a real passion for their work. That's how are first four chickens came in! We noticed they could use some more help, so we searched for some very fine workers, small but fast! It started with two bantam Cochins, one turned out to be a rooster, so we had to get him some extra ladies!
And than a few months ago, they suddenly ALL decided to go broody. I just couldn't ignore their child wish...
And oh well... you all know how the rest goes!

Besides our chickens, we also have two mouse killers and three water cleaners. There's also a chance we'll have a hoover running around soon..
