Ham?

Real quick, I'm thinkin of throughing the ham skin out because of salt and nitrates.....but.... Who feeds ham. I have 31 chickens so it would be somuch per chicken.....I hate the waste. BUT I wouldn't give any to my dogs. It isn't good for them......but they live 15 years not 6.......

I feed mine ham trimmings and they go nuts. Maybe put the bulk in the freezer and pull out some every week?

Mine get everything and anything. All the table and cooking scraps go into the "chicken bucket." Been that way for 25+ years with no problems. Our eggs were better quality than others and got first place in the egg class at the fair. Our chickens were better conditioned than most as well.
