Hammerhead worms or Bipalium sp?

I found a hammerhead worm near our chicken coop and read they have a neurotoxin in them. They say it can not kill pets or humans but what if a chicken ate one of these hammerhead worms? Could it not poison a chicken from the inside? Kill them they are not native in the USA and they kill earth worms and each other so if anyone has anything on these mean looking worms let us know please.

Yea it's crazy. I am glad that chickens can eat them. Hopefully I will not have any more but I know that is not the case these worms eat worms and that is not good for the environment. Thanks for the info and the good news glad you joined
