Our girls, for the first and only time, hatched eight chickens this winter (hatched New Year's Day). Now, six months later, we find out that *five* of them were roosters. They were all hand raised and very sweet -- we would love to keep them if we could, but that's too many roosters, and really, we can't keep roosters in our neighborhood. We have recently found a home for one of them, but that leaves four: one Carolina Blue Sex Link, one Barred Plymouth Rock, and two Heritage Buff English Orpingtons (which are like lap birds). Anyone interested? Or, if you know of anyone that might be able to take them, please let them know. We are in Howard County, MD. Would be willing to drive a bit to deliver.
