Thanks guys! These ladies are a bit older now & have settled down nicely. We only have one problem child & I assume she'll settle down once she starts laying.

Some breeds are more shy than others. I have 3 RIRs and 3 BOs. The reds jump on my lap all the time (got food?!!!). The BOs run away.

All of our girls run to us when we greet them. They, on some days, will let you stroke, pet and pick them up. Every bird is different -and even different on different days. We just meet them where they are on a daily basis . . . They are just like people -they have different personalities on different days, LOL . . . .we fed/pet them with our hands when they were babies -so, maybe that helps us -now that they are maturing
