Good to hear! It's always a good thing when integrations go well. I'm assuming they will begin laying whenever your typical spring begins...? Wintertime is a season for rest and molting for chickens. Just means their bodies are gearing up for it and replenishing nutrients they need. Make sure you offer free choice grit and oyster shell. It's not something you hear a lot of, but you can rinse and dry used egg shells and crush them really well and feed them back to your chickens. It puts calcium back into their bodies that they need for creating the shell of the eggs. Some think it causes them to become egg eaters, but I have found this is not the case when they are rinsed and dried. You can also softly scramble an egg and feed it to them. It gives them much needed proteins that some feeds lack. Glad everyone is doing well!
