Our chicks came yesterday! We did not handle them for the first 24 hourse(besides dipping beaks, inspecting etc.). This morning we were holding each one of them for a short amount of time. They come right up to our hands, even without food and aren't scared at all. They let us pick them up and they are quiet. We breathe on them to relax them and they LOVE it! Is it ok that we are handling them? How long should we handle them for right now?

Handling them is good! It gets them used to you so they will not be scared as they grow and get bigger. Just be ready for lap chickens later on!
