First timer with an incubator. I've read all the rules and am keeping the humidity and temp at good levels so I think I'm doing that right. My question is, can I handle them too much? I'm at day 6 and have candled the last few nights. Will too much handling hurt them? I'm being as gentle as possible, I'm just SO EXCITED but I'd feel terrible if I was lowering their chance at hatching.

Thanks

The more you handle them the more likely an accident can happen.
When I first started, hatching I candled at day 7-10-14-18, tracing the air cell each time.
Now I candle less unless I have funky eggs.

If they are shipped eggs it's best to only check them on the recommended days. If they are your own eggs or eggs you picked up locally they can be candled daily but just be careful as the more you pick them up the more chances there are to drop them.

Thank you. I picked them up locally so hopefully they'll be alright. I'll try to be more patient :).
