Thanks everyone! I'll try to get 10 or so cranked out by Christmas--but no guarantees!

I got some stuff in the mail yesterday and I'm already overwhelmed! LOL Who knew making necklaces could be so complicated? LOL I'm planning on making some with seed beads (multiple strands), some with glass beads and maybe some others with just cords & the "Poultry Pendants!" LOL

I've been debating....do I do custom necklaces--or just make a bunch and sell them as I go? I'm leaning towards the custom thing (custom colored beads & if possible, custom colored chickens), just because I'll need some $$ to really get going...

Just make them! Custom orders will drive you bonkers just starting. Post pic's and prices of each and we will just chime in and order! They can all be different and such.

I agree, custom orders will drive you nuts. Just make up a bunch and you can always reuse the beads from the ones that don't sell, if any! Build in a reasonable profit so you don't burn out too fast!

Those are so very cute. I am not sure exactly how big those beads/ charms are but all I can think about are EARRINGS!!!!

Edited to say: I see now that you said they are the size of a quarter. I would totally wear chicken earrings the size of a quarter. LOL
