A few downed pear trees have another chance at life. Rather then be burned or sent to the chipper they are being transformed into something wonderful for your home or garden.

This thick handmade chopping block, is from natural hardwood. 1 edge was left unfinished from under the bark. Its been hand cut and sanded just for your kitchen, and oiled with only the best organic cold pressed olive oil. This is ready to be used as a great chopping surface in your kitchen, or as a service tray for cheese, crackers or veggies at your next holiday get together.

Dimensions: 9" x 9" x1"

Care Instructions:

Do not put in your dishwasher, wipe with a sponge and soapy water directly in your sink. Do not allow to soak. Reapply olive oil yearly to keep your cutting boards gorgeous finish.

Custom orders available.

Check out my husband's online shop for more of his wonderful wood work items!!!!

My husband is making more if anyone is interested. He's making serving platter size boards, still smoothed and cured with the olive oil for kitchen use. Just let us know, because there will be limited amounts to chose from. Our chainsaw died!

we're hoping to raise enough $ for him to buy a new one.

Here's the second one he created. Also hand carved out of Pear wood.

$62 and I will combine shipping with anything else from his shop, or mine!

I love the first one. Reminds me of the cutting board that my mother in law has. What does that one cost plus shipping?
