Hands on hatching and help

Wow, only 57 hours?

-Kathy
Yup. There's 2 that are already this advanced. The other one is a little fainter, but very visable as well. I can't see anything going on it the rest of the silkies, but the Spitz are right on schedule, you can see the "blood island" that silkie chicken shows on the candling thread at 52 hours. So these two must have been in warm spots, or are just extra advanced...lol I do rotate my eggs though so they will probably balance out. I was sirprised to see that much developement early on in day 2. I often can see the slightest hints of veins at day 2, but not the actual embryonic development.

Testing

If it will be the last week, I think you will be OK.  you may have a lot of issues with them being upside down or malpositioned but in the long run with some help you should be OK.

Sorry to hear about your Husband..

Thank you so much for responding. I expected hatching problems since they were shipped eggs. This will make it little more stressful. For me and them
I'm sure I will be on here asking for help and advice. Hubs and is doing better. Should go home Tuesday.
Thanks again

Linda

The two that were in it hatched, so guess I'll have to try better on the next batch!
