One of my chicks is really quiet! Does nothing but sleep and if I put my hand in all the others run around in a frenzy but this one just stands there even if I go to pick it up. Is it ok? It doesn't try to wriggle free when I pick it up either I'm a little bit worried
Yeah they have some intervits in their water. I came in today and it was calling me which is a good sign it's the first time I've heard it since it hatched. This one lost some blood during hatching and also hatched with a open navel so it didn't have a great start
And they say the worry is over after hatching lol. With your aircells couldn't you make a tiny hole and drain them somehow? That would worry the hell out of meIt will probably just take a min to catch up with the others. I've noticed the weak hatchers usually catch up within a week or so. They just need that little extra TLC.

Need advise on this baby....is everything looking ok? It piped at 6pm sat...it is rocking it egg and I can see it breathing by the pip. It has cracked a little more of the shell ...but looks like its going to the top of the egg rather than around?
