Hands on hatching and help

Oh know thats not good at all. If the one zipping stalled I would go ahead and help it out. The bubbles could be a bacterial infection. I'm not sure though. I've not had that happen..
Seems to be stuck I think these are sticky ducklings that's why I'm having problems. Had one pip with bubbles coming out of the hole so I took it out opened the pip and it was coming from its mouth

It seems ok now I turned the egg so it's bill is facing down incase anything was in its nostrils the bubbles are gone and it's peeling like the others. The one zipping still has a tiny bit of yolk so I'm gently rubbing coconut oil on the bits that are stuck to it. Going to be a long night I can't sleep when hatching starts :pop

I don't sleep when hatching either lol. I'm up all night checking on them lol

Bubbles in nose/mouth can happen when the egg has not lost enough moisture and has breathed in the fluid.
Thats good to know. How can you tell if they are losing enough moisture?

I had a chick hatch this year that actually had fluid in it's crop!
Thats scary.. Did it live?
