Hands on hatching and help

The chick had become lethargic, so I decided to remove the top shell and membrane. The chick kicked itself out of the remaining half.

Unfortunately, blood ran out of the bottom half of the shell.

Chick hasn't moved, but is breathing better.

Now we wait.

Yes.

However it hasn't moved in position and it looks like its drying again.
In this situation it's best to moisten the membrane with coconut oil or vaseline, this must be reapplied frequently to prevent it drying out, water doesn't help much.
It's best to wait if you see any yawning/chewing before proceeding

How is the little chick doing now? Did it survive?
