Have an crabby rooster caught by leg & after up discovered a nail broken almost off by the quick minor blood but unsure if should let go in run or cut off ??

I would trim it and apply styptic powder or corn starch.

Appreciate your reply. After cking with another source I am watching him tonight & definitely cutting/trimming it in the morning.
