Hanging coco baskets for nests??

Has anyone ever used them? Do hens like them?? I was searching for a low-cost alternative to building something from scratch. I got two, but I may see how my 3 babes do with just this one for now!

I haven't gotten my chickens yet, but it looks like a great idea! (And inexpensive!)

I don't see why they wouldn't like it, looks pretty comfortable to me, 3 girls you will only need 1 of them, when the time comes put it alot lower and secured well so it doesn't move.

jetdog: I will probably have a few inches of base material (sand) in the floor once I put it outside, plus I haven't put in the roosts yet. I was planning on putting one across, right along the front edge of the nests, to both support them more and so they can reach.

You cannot see it in the picture, but they don't move at all. After I'm done with this repurposing project, I'm going to post a big picture album and step by step
