hanging feeders for baby chicks?

I have hanging feeders in my coop for my big girls.
when we've hatched in the past we've always had feed and water on the ground of brooder - is there a way to hang them? Will the chick be able to get to them?
I'm trying to avoid the insane mess that we usually end up with.

I can't think of a reason why not. I suspect we'd see a lot more of this, except that people use things like aquariums or cardboard that aren't simple to hang a feeder on. And you might want to be able to raise it easily as they grow.
