Hank's replacements

Well, Hank is doing well at his new home (called yesterday just to make sure, and he now has a harem of Leghorns that he is already quite fond of).

This morning went out to get my Barred Rock (thanks for the suggestion, everyone).

The only problem...felt bad just getting one...didn't want her to be lonely with no one to cuddle with...ended up getting two.

This is were I stand up and say, "Hello, my name is DesertGirl, and I'm a Chick-o-holic".

Oh I am so glad to read you got two!!!! Chickens are flock animals and do not do well alone. Barred rocks are so cute!!!

Here they are...I followed the advice I got from you wonderful folks, and tried to picck out darker (not orangie-yellow) legs and "tight" (not diffuse) head spots.

How do you thnk I did? Do these look like little ladies to you guys?
