Hey everyone i was just wondering if i should be concerned or not. My roosters comb is a little purple at the tips and his upper eyelid is a little swollen. Hes acting normal. Just wondering if this is anything. We had a huge cold snap a few days ago. (I live in Florida so it didn't get frost bite cold i dont think at least) but just wondering if this is nothing.

He has a large comb, so it's probably just some cool weather that is causing a slight tint to the comb.

For the eye, he has a bit of debris in the corner of his eye, you may want to look at that more closely. Watch to see if he has any crawling lice or mites on the face/in the ears/eyes. Flush/clean eyes with saline, remove any debris.

If you find lice/mites on him, treat with a Permethrin based poultry dust or spray.

The slight swelling, it can be hard to know what that is. If he has lice/mites, that could be the cause. A bug bite in general since you live in Florida. A peck or scratch, many things can be at play.
