Hannah walking funny

I noticed that Hannah, my 4 yr old Barred Rock, was walking strangely today. She would pick up her left leg, and kick it backward. I picked her up and checked her out to see if I could see or feel anything. Everything felt OK. Any ideas what it could be?

did you look under her foot for possible bumble foot?

Yes, I did! I've had that experience once before. So glad it's not that. It's just so weird, she lifts her foot up high, then kind of jerks it backwards like when they're scratching in the dirt, except that she's not scratching.
