The Reason For The Season...

On July 4, 1776 the Second Continental Congress declared that the Thirteen Colonies were no longer subject to the rule of the monarch of Britain, King George III. They would stand as a new nation, free and united from tyranical rule, where the people would govern themselves through free election and democratic process.

Our newly minted republic essentially signed its own death warrant with this document, it was the literal point-of-no-return for the founding fathers. They had undertaken the most impossible mission: To fight for their freedom, or die trying.

So a group of untrained farmers, craftsmen and merchants spit in the eye of the crown, after suffering years of subjugation and abuse. In return, the King sent the most powerful army and navy in the world that existed at that time, to crush the colonials.

And despite all odds, with liek-mided allies, Americans won the war!​
