thank you for the warm welcome. I got the quails today and I got all of the colors I wanted! I got 5 coturnix quails, 3 females and 2 males. I think they should lay eggs soon ( in about an week or so) and I cant wait to see them

. I'm a beginner but my family has been keeping chickens on and off my whole life and even had quails once. Chickens kinda scare me a bit

and the most recent ones we have had were egg eaters but quails are so small and tame that they lessen the fear a bit. I admit I am still not able to hold them without gloves because I feel a tiny body squirming in my hand

but I am getting there. Can not wait for some tiny eggs though!!!!!!!!!!!!!
