Happy Birthday Noodles!!!

It's my special little hen's first birthday today! Noodles is always happy to have a cuddle and kisses, she's the sweetest hen I've ever owned. She's one of my favourite things in the whole world, and even if I'm not home today, I'm wishing her a very happy birthday, and tomorrow she gets a pumpkin!

Noodles hatched with her 2 brothers. One of them was special needs, so her and her older brother would help him and teach him to eat and drink. Then, my rooster died. He was very special to me, and it was quite a dark time. But Noodles' behavior helped me take my mind off of it. She acted very similar to how he did as a chick, she came out from the same egg number as he did, and they were both second to hatch. Noodles and I became very close, but hen she was integrated outside with her brothers I had a lone bullied chick to look after (Thor) and Noodles and I drifted apart a bit. I integrated Thor, and Noodles' brothers had to be rehomed. I took them to a good chicken shelter, but Noodles was lonely. She was sad and had no chicken friends. We started to bond again, and this is the strong bond that we still have today. Noodles became friends with Thor, and founded #millefleursisters.
