I haven't got a clue but I had two that each did a little circle dance followed by a leap into the air with a squeal today.So... what does it mean when Blu crouches low on his belly and does a happy dance while letting out a high pitched squeal? He kept doing this dance around PJ earlier, never saw that before!
Yes! They all did the leap, but Blu's the only one that dud the crouched dance thing. These are the boys, so not mating...unless..you said they cld swap mates each year. I wonder if the 3 were auditioning?I haven't got a clue but I had two that each did a little circle dance followed by a leap into the air with a squeal today.
I doubt it was a mating thing. I have never seen this behavior during breeding season. What it reminded me of was the deer playing their crazy games at this time of year. Maybe they are celebrating the cooler weather and feeling spunky.Yes! They all did the leap, but Blu's the only one that dud the crouched dance thing. Oh gosh, what a funny memory. I think R2elk was right, they were just so tickled by the cool down, bc I've not seen anything like it since. What a happy day!my guineas have never done that
