Well, I would like to know also. the hatchery mistakenly sent me Pekins instead of Duclairs. I thought something was wrong when they grew so big. When they started laying dingey white eggs instead of blue-green eggs I contacted the hatchery. I sent pictures and they refunded my money for the cost of the ducklings but not the shipping. I would not have paid shipping for Pekins that I can get at any farm store. At least they got the sex correctly. They are females. It was a lot of work raising ducklings, they are soooo messy. I can not foresee me raising ducklings again.

Oh my goodness! I have pekins now and I love them, but I've had my share of issues with them and my husband said never again. I just ordered a few ducklings from Metzer and ordered one Duclair. I really want the smaller size bird! Argh - sorry about what happened to you!
