Happy Ducks

First bath in WEEKS. Temps are in the mid 40s, snow is gone in sunny areas, she who feeds the ducks decided to treat them. Oh happy happy ducks.

My son has 4 happy ducks too. I was given an old Little Tikes turtle sandpit, yesterday, to use as a pool for his ducks as his blue plastic one has split. The ducks loved the turtle as soon as they saw it!

I advertised on Nextdoor asking if anyone had an old Little Tikes turtle sandpit that they no longer needed. I recommend this approach to others needing a pool for their ducks: the Little Tikes sandpit is much more robust than a blue plastic wading pool, yet children grow out of sandpits!

That’s great to now. I wanted to get a new kiddie pool, but I can’t find one anywhere. Amazon has “other purchasing options”, but these crooks want $499 for a 36” x 7” plastic toddler pool!

I’ll look for the sandbox option.
