I posted a couple of weeks ago when I had a duck behaving strangely. Sadly, he didn't make it, but my other three are doing so well. I gave them a new (temporary) enclosure today, with their first large pool. They absolutely loved it!

Nice. Good idea using those panels. I have them for my guinea pig cages and floor pen. Never thought of using them that way.
Just a suggestion though. They look a bit small, so maybe you want to put something in the pool to hep them get out easily. We have one of those pools too, and even my adult Runners and my Mallard can have trouble getting out of it. They can either get hurt struggling, or if they cannot get out, drown because they just get too waterlogged and exhausted. Also, the blocks on the side might be better made into "steps", they look rather steep.

aw, aren't they cute! shame you lost one, the others seem to be doing well. Funny, i have the same sandbox left from my kids. I do agree though ensure they can get in/out.. drowning in ducks is possible, the sides on that are fairly slippery.

I agree with Chicken Obsessed. You should put some bricks inside the pool for them to get in & out on & make the outside ones into steps. I love the pool!
