Of course they do! In my story I wrote- which is supposed to resemble something that could really happen- two 10-year-olds wanted Easter baskets! And in real life, I heard of a girl who was sad because her parents said she was only getting 1 more Easter basket!
Never think that they don't want them!
(Okay, your 17-year-old? I'd be shocked too. But 11? I'd expect it.)
I arrived home late last night after work and pulled my car into the detached garage as usual. I gathered my things from the car, got out and went to the door that leads outside to the house. Hanging in front of the door, on a bungee cord, was a brightly colored Easter basket filled with chocolate bunnies, Cadbury eggs, little malted milk eggs and a couple of silly little light-up toys. My honey had come over while I was gone and left me this sweet surprise. He loves me!
Happy Easter everyone. What a great day for my Silkies to be hatching. But their not for me their for someones daughter on here. I bet she'll remember the day they are born.

My 17 year old is so mature in just about every respect that I was shocked also. LOL Oh well, if you are a good overall kid who takes responsibility for himself normally then I guess that you are allowed one silly moment.
