we got a nice Easter surprise gift from our three grown up ducks today:

Three beautiful large duck eggs! - Out of three different nests in the duckburg, that means all three girls are laying now. Guess Miss Nona is now a Missus too…

I just realized how much better duck eggs are for baking! I whipped up some pancake batter, look at the color! No color added, just from the yolks.

And the pancakes are fluffy without yeast or baking powder!
