Happy Feet is feathering out help identify her breed.

Happy Feet was purchased April 24 and wasn’t labeled they said she could be a Blue Wyandotte or Blue Asian or some type of Maran any ideas as to what she is? Pictures from when we got her to now

Out of the 3 breeds named, maran is the only one with feathered feet so im going with that...although i thought their legs are white. Possibly a cross? No expert here, just hazarding a guess

Edit: legs are slate grey with pink under the foot for marans

Straight on close up picture of the comb could narrow it down. If it's a single comb, then it isn't likely to be a Wyandotte. If it's a rose comb then Wyandotte is your answer.

Nope. No feathered feet with Wyandottes. Marans can have clean or feathered legs, though.

Yea when i hatched my marans two didnt have feathered feet...i was just curious because i like that feature n thought my wynadottes got gyped in the genetic department lol

No. Brahmas are good ones for feathered feet, or Cochins.
