Willow loped over to them, whinnying loudly.  She made a bee-line for Danny.

Silver sat up.  "Pride, you gotta do this.  You've done it several times before.  This one will be safe, Pride.  With you.  You will be able to raise it this time, it won't get snatched away before it can even stand" he said, sitting by her like a dog.

Danny smiled happily.

Willow nickered, sliding to a stop in front of her.

Pride panted hard groaning

"Pride, it'll all be ok" Silver said gently. "You're safe now, the foal is safe this time". He didn't care that it wasn't his foal, that the father was a donkey. None of that mattered to him.

She squealed in pain this was the biggest foal she had ever had

Julie knelt beside her, Silver watched her suspiciously, but was far more focused on Pride.

Willow rubbed her head on Danny's arm. "You're back! I was about to go looking for you"

Julie knelt beside her, Silver watched her suspiciously, but was far more focused on Pride.

Pride tried to stand fearing Julies touch
