Pride struggled to her feet then stumbled and fell with a thud she cried in pain

"Easy, easy there girl" she said, catching her head before it hit the ground. "Rest a minute"

Silver snorted. "Pride, what's wrong?"

She lay still breathing hard

Julie stroked her face, whatever happened, she wanted Pride to know she was loved and cared for. Safe.

Pride snorted softly closing her eyes tight

The little foal watched nervously

Danny walked over to willow.

Lilly walked over and began nuzzling the foal.

Julie kept stroking her, her fingers not touching the wounds that she knew were still painful. "It's ok Pride, it's ok there, I won't hurt you" she crooned gently.
