Marga smiled again. "Okay, we'll be there in a few!" she said, hanging up. She turned towards the trailing horse trailer. "Be there in a few boys and girls!" she shouted to the horses.
Opal frowned a bit. "They can't understand you. You know that, right?" she asked Marga, lips pursed.
Marga sunk lower in the truck's bucket seat. "Yeah," she lied.
Opal furrowed her eyebrows. "Then why do you feel the need to talk to them?" she asked, knowing she wouldn't get an answer.
Marga closed her eyes and tried to tune out the twins in the back.
A few minutes later, the truck, trailer, and all their passengers pulled into the stable's drive. Marga jumped out of her side as soon as the truck stopped. "Hello!?" she called, hoping they were at the right place.
